2026 Summer Championship - Round 3: Buggy Race 2 Recap
What a display from Nick Stokes in the Buggy class tonight! He took control of Race 2 from the very first lap and never looked back, leading every single lap to take a commanding victory. His pace was relentless, setting the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 12.51 seconds.
Behind Nick, the battle for the remaining podium spots was intense. James Campbell showed real determination, climbing two places from his starting position to secure a strong second place. He consistently found pace, finishing just shy of Nick's lap count but comfortably ahead of the rest. Ian Foxwell fought hard, holding strong positions for much of the race, ultimately rounding out the top three.
The race wasn't without its challenges for others. Toby and Tim Halstead battled throughout, with Toby eventually finishing fourth after completing 14 laps. Tom Jones showed flashes of speed but could only complete two laps before the chequered flag fell. A great night of racing from the SMCC members!
