Tamiya Tourers: Zepp Dominates Round 3
What a drive from Jimmy Zepp in the Tamiya Tourers! He absolutely controlled this race from start to finish, leading every single lap to take a commanding victory. His fastest lap of 15.07 seconds was the quickest of the entire field, underlining his dominance on the polished hall floor. Zepp finished with a total time of 252.44 seconds, comfortably ahead of the competition.
Behind Jimmy, the battle for second was a closer affair. Ian Foxwell and Martin Timms swapped positions throughout the early laps, with Foxwell initially holding P2. Timms managed to get ahead of Foxwell around lap 3, holding station in second until lap 5 when Foxwell fought back. Foxwell then cemented his position, finishing with 14 laps completed, just ahead of Martin Timms who also completed 14 laps. Oscar Pay followed them home, also on 14 laps, showing a consistent performance throughout.
Donna Belton-Timms completed 11 laps in her outing, showing good pace on some of her laps. Despite the strong showing from the rest of the field, Jimmy Zepp simply had an answer for everything, taking the chequered flag in emphatic style to claim maximum points.
