What a fantastic evening of buggy racing we've just had here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club for Round 3 of the 2026 Summer Championship! It was Ian Foxwell who ultimately took the win in Race 2, crossing the line having completed 19 laps. For much of the race, it was James Campbell who controlled proceedings, leading for the first 13 laps.
However, a significant moment came on lap 14 when Ian Foxwell made his move for the lead, and he held on to secure the victory by a margin of 1.27 seconds. James Campbell finished a strong second, also on 19 laps, setting the fastest lap of the entire race with a blistering 12.46 seconds. Tim Halstead ran a solid race in third place, completing 16 laps before he ran out of time. Toby Halstead finished in fourth, 14 laps to his name. Tom Jones and Nick Stokes unfortunately did not finish the race.
