Race 2 - Buggy Round-Up
What a fantastic display of buggy racing we witnessed tonight for Round 3 of the 2026 Summer Championship! Nick Stokes was in a class of his own, dominating from start to finish. He led every single lap of the 19-lap race, setting a blistering fastest lap of 12.09 seconds and ultimately taking the win with a comfortable margin.
Chasing hard behind, Ian Foxwell secured a strong second place. He consistently held second position throughout the race, though he was unable to match Nick's pace at the front. James Campbell fought valiantly to finish third. After starting fourth, he moved up to third on lap two and held that position for the majority of the race, eventually completing 18 laps to claim the final podium spot.
Tim Halstead finished in fourth, completing 17 laps, just ahead of Toby Halstead who came home in fifth after 16 laps. Tom Jones unfortunately retired early and did not record a lap time. Congratulations to all drivers for another exciting night of racing at Sevenoaks Model Car Club!
