Tamiya Tourers deliver drama in Round 3!
What a race we've just witnessed in the Tamiya Tourers class for Round 3 of the Summer Championship! Jimmy Zepp was utterly dominant from the lights to the chequered flag, leading every single lap of the 17-lap encounter. His consistent pace, averaging 14.828 seconds per lap, kept the field at bay.
Behind Jimmy, the battle for second was intense. Ian Foxwell held the position for the majority of the race, completing 16 laps. He crossed the line just 0.96 seconds ahead of Martin Timms, who put in a strong performance to secure third place, finishing on 15 laps. Oscar Pay, despite setting the fastest lap of the entire race with a blistering 13.81 seconds on lap 14, finished fourth on 14 laps, just ahead of Donna Belton-Timms who completed 10 laps.
It was a fantastic display of driving skill and close racing out there. Congratulations to Jimmy Zepp on his victory and to all the drivers for putting on such an exciting show for the Sevenoaks Model Car Club spectators!
