Buggy Race 2: Stokes Dominates from the Front
Nick Stokes takes a commanding victory in Buggy Race 2 of the 2026 Summer Championship. From the moment the lights went out, Stokes was in a class of his own, leading every single lap of the seventeen-lap encounter. He set the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 14.21 seconds, a time no other driver could match. His consistent pace, with a mean lap time of 14.886 seconds, kept the chasing pack at bay, and he ultimately crossed the line with a comfortable margin.
The battle for second place was more hotly contested. Ben Clark initially held the advantage, pulling out a gap in the early laps. However, Tom Jones, starting third, made moves to break into the top two. By lap seven, Jones had moved into second, and he held it until lap twelve when Clark fought back to reclaim the position. Despite a strong push from Jones, who finished just 0.15 seconds behind Clark in total time, Ben Clark held on to secure second place.
Holly Weaver and Mark Walkden had a tougher time, with Mark finding pace later in the race. Holly, after running in the top four for much of the race, eventually finished fifth on fourteen laps. Mark Walkden completed twelve laps, taking fourth place on corrected time. James Campbell unfortunately retired early and did not record a lap.
