What a finish to Race 5 of the Tamiya Tourers Summer Championship here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Jimmy Zepp took an early lead, holding the top spot for the opening eight laps. However, on lap nine, Tim Webb made his move, taking the lead and holding it right to the chequered flag. Webb managed to build a gap of 3.06 seconds by the end, finishing with a total time of 247.21 seconds.
Jimmy Zepp gave it everything, clocking the fastest lap of the entire race with a blistering 15.40 seconds. Despite his impressive pace, he ultimately finished 3.06 seconds behind Webb. Martin Timms ran a consistent race in third position throughout, finishing over nine seconds adrift of the leader, but securing a well-deserved podium. Oscar Pay showed some pace but retired after lap ten, completing 10 laps.
