Race 1 - Short Course Truck Recap

What a sensational drive from Tim Halstead to take the win in Race 1 of the Short Course Trucks! After Chris Luckett took an early lead, Tim made his move on lap 2 and never looked back, holding a comfortable gap to the end. Tim's consistency was the key, with the majority of his laps falling within a tight window, securing him the victory.

Chris Luckett fought hard, holding onto second position for most of the race. He battled with Toby Halstead, who showed incredible pace with the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 15.11 seconds. Toby's charge saw him briefly snatch second on lap 13, but Chris managed to regain the spot on the penultimate lap to take a well-deserved second place by just 0.82 seconds. Alan Culham put in a strong effort to finish fourth, completing 14 laps.

Keith Griggs finished fifth, ahead of Andrew Boakes and Tyrone Quinlivan who retired early. James Campbell unfortunately did not finish. A fantastic display of driving from all our competitors this evening at Sevenoaks Model Car Club!

Lower is better — position 1 is at the top. Lines that end early are drivers who didn't complete the full race.

Leader stays on 0 throughout. Steeper line = a driver losing time quickly relative to the lead car.
