What a sensational Tamiya Tourers race we've just witnessed here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club! Teddy Turner was in a class of his own tonight, leading from the very first lap all the way to the chequered flag. He set a blistering pace, clocking the fastest lap of the race at an incredible 17.96 seconds. Teddy never relinquished that top spot, finishing with a commanding victory.
Behind Teddy, the battle for the remaining podium places was intense. Sophie Cowe had a fantastic run, climbing two positions from her starting spot to secure a well-deserved second place. She brought her Tamiya home just ahead of Damian McLean, who fought hard to round out the top three. George Cordier showed flashes of speed but couldn't quite maintain pace, finishing fourth after leading the early laps. Robert Bevan completed the field in fifth, showing determination throughout.
While Teddy Turner dominated the front, Sophie Cowe's consistency saw her finish a strong second. Damian McLean secured third, ending the race with a gap of 13.81 seconds to Sophie. This round of the Summer Championship certainly delivered some thrilling action, and we're already looking forward to the next one!
