Tamiya Tourers Thriller Sees Ratcliffe Take the Win
What a finish to the Tamiya Tourers at Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight! Alan Ratcliffe has taken the victory, but not without a fight. Damian McLean led the field away on lap one and held the lead for a crucial lap before Alan snatched it back on lap three. Alan then controlled the pace, setting the fastest lap of the race at a blistering 16.16 seconds, and held on to take the chequered flag.
Damian McLean ran a strong race, keeping Alan honest for much of the event. He completed 11 laps, finishing just over 34 seconds behind Alan. Sophie Cowe and Robert Bevan battled for third and fourth throughout the race. Sophie eventually secured the final podium spot, completing 8 laps, with Robert a few seconds behind her after the same number of laps.
This was a fantastic display of touring car racing from all our drivers, showcasing great skill and determination under the SMCC lights!
