Summer Championship Race 3 - Touring Car Recap
What a fantastic display in Race 3 of the Touring Car Championship here at Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight! Ian Cowe absolutely dominated from lights out to the chequered flag, leading every single lap and setting the fastest lap of the race with a blistering 13.06 seconds. He maintained a solid lead throughout, crossing the line with a comfortable margin.
Behind Ian, the battle was intense! Tim Webb started in fourth but put in a superb drive to climb through the field, eventually finishing a strong second. He held off a determined James Weaver, who also had a strong showing, to secure that runner-up spot by just 1.44 seconds. James Weaver ultimately took third, just shy of Tim's pace by the end of the race.
Further down the order, Ian Foxwell and Ian Webb fought hard. Ian Foxwell finished in fourth, just ahead of Ian Webb in fifth, completing 16 laps each. A great evening of racing for all involved!
