Tamiya Tourers - Race 6 Recap
What a sensational finish to the Tamiya Tourers at Sevenoaks Model Car Club tonight! Mark K Shepherd has taken a dominant victory in Race 6, leading from the first lap all the way to the checkered flag. He set a blistering pace, consistently out front and never relinquishing control of the race.
The real drama unfolded behind him. Mark Shepherd spent much of the race in second place, but a challenging period around lap 4 saw him drop back to fourth. However, he showed incredible pace and determination to fight back into second by lap 8, and stayed there to the end. Tim Webb looked strong in the early laps, holding second place for a significant portion of the race, before eventually finishing third having completed 16 laps. Jimmy Zepp maintained a solid fourth place throughout the majority of the race.
Despite the clear leader, the battle for the minor placings kept us all on the edge of our seats. Mark K Shepherd's win was built on consistency, but Mark Shepherd's charge through the field was truly impressive. A fantastic display of driving from all our competitors tonight!
